Resort Tour with the New Girl — First Stop: the Candy Shoppe!

Hello, hello! I should introduce myself — I’m Heather, aka “The New Girl.” Keep checking back as I take you with me while I tour the Resort at Crystal Springs!  

I’m nearing my second full week here and discovering new places every day. As I continue touring the property I find myself constantly impressed by the sheer size of it all. Really, if you want it — it’s here! Amazing.  

I will say, of all the places I’ve visited so far, the Candy Shoppe at Grand Cascades Lodge is at the top of my “Wow, that’s awesome,” list.   

Chocolates and candies line the walls and the sweet smell is absolutely divine. It was hard to resist getting myself a bag of the chocolate and toffee covered pretzels!  

Next time you’re in the area — as a guest of the resort or just driving through — it is definitely worth a stop in. The towers of lollipops and rows of delicious treats are enough to maky anyone’s mouth water. Trust me.
