2011 Winter Golf Pentathlon
Weather was the star – sunny all day with hardly any wind. With the reflecting sunshine off of the snow, we probably should have worn sun screen on our faces! When the golfers started at 12:30, we were all extremely excited to be on the golf course especially after this intense winter we have had. Even though the snow was almost completely covering the ground high fives and excitement were in the air.
We had 12 finalists, but the fight for the top three spots came down to Dave Campbell winning the bronze medal, Eve Sorace winning the silver medal and George Diaz as grand champion won a $3,900 membership to the resort.
The 9 foot tall snowman was hit once by Hannah Pekarck. She was given a free round of golf for hitting the shot of the day!

Gingerbread Village
It is so easy to get sucked into the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, but here at Crystal Springs, we slowed it down to stop and smell the… gingerbread! This past weekend, we assembled the largest Gingerbread Village in New Jersey complete with snow, trains, polar bears and of course, tasty treats! Roughly 30 pounds of candy was used to create our decadent, intricate Gingerbread Village. To see the complete photo albums, visit us on Facebook.
Winter’s Back!

We hope you are all enjoying this wintry surprise this morning as much as us! We are especially psyched to hit the slopes this weekend!!
We have been super busy getting ready for Valentine’s Day at the Resort and lots of new photo shoots too! We recently shot our IT Director in our 72,000 bottle Wine Cellar for an upcoming editorial in Biz Tech Magazine which should be an awesome article! We also just took some great new food shots from Chef Michael Weisshaupt of Restaurant Latour! Check em out below – but don’t blame us if you get hungry!

Hope you all had an awesome holiday! We had a great weekend & cannot wait for what’s to come this weekend!! The entire Crystal Springs team has been super busy prepping for our NINE different New Year’s Eve celebrations tomorrow night! We are so excited to celebrate with all of our friends & guests. I will update later today with some more behind the scenes info & pictures of the massive set up going on throughout the Resort!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
So Mother Nature woke up and brought snow to the majority of the Mid & Northeast including Crystal Springs! Although we did not receive the 20+ inches that some other regions did we do have 5+ inches of beautiful fresh powder snow here! Giving us a beautiful winter wonderland for the holidays this week and awesome ski & snowboarding conditions for all the ski & snowboarders out there! We are looking forward to an awesome holiday break with lots of snowman building, tubing, skiing & more!
There are even a few rumblings around that we may have another storm heading our way Christmas day! Anywho – enjoy some of our photos and we will be back later!

We’re dreaming of a white…. weekend?!
It looks like we may have a very white weekend!! The first major storm of the year could bring us more than a foot of snow! The path of the storm seems to be somewhat uncertain but either way we are prepared to get snowed in! Mountain Creek will be full open tomorrow and our shuttles will be running our guests to the mountain. Stay tuned & stay warm!
